      HOT DESERTS WHAT IS A HOT DESERT? -       -    A hot desert is a region that receives a very small amount of rain or/and moisture and there is not enough water for many plants to grow, and it is very difficult for humans, animals, or plants to survive here.     HOW DID THE WILDLIFE ADAPT TO LIVING IN THE HOT DESERT?     - The hot dessert makes it difficult for most animals to survive, but there are a few a nimals that have adapted to living in the harsh conditions of hot deserts for example:     - Some animals have adapted by hiding in burrows throughout the daytime when the temperatures are high and only come out at night when the temperatures have dropped to hunt for food like scorpions and lizards.     - Some animals like the camel can control their body temperatures to lose less water.     - Other animals have light-colored skin coats that help them to not built-up throughout the ...
